The increasing popularity of garlic, especially over the last few decades,
has seen garlic festivals becoming established all over the world.
Here are a few of the largest:
Delray Beach Garlic Fest
The Delray Garlic Fest is a three day festival that takes place in Florida. To avoid
hurricanes this has been moved from November to February: the 8th Annual Delray
Beach Garlic Fest will take place between Feb 16 and Feb 18 2007.

Gilroy Garlic Festival
The annual Gilroy Garlic Festival is probably one of the world's largest
and most well-known. The festival has been running since 1978 and takes place
in the town of Gilroy in Santa Clara County, California.

Hudson Valley Garlic Festival
A two day festival that this year (2004) takes place in September at Cantine Field in Saugerties, NY.

Pocono Garlic Festival
A day long garlic festival in Stroudsburg, PA in september. Sponsored by the Pocono Garlic Growers Association.

European Garlic Festivals
Vitoria-Gasteiz Fiestas
The city of Vitoria-Gasteiz in the Basque region of Spain holds a series
annual summer fiestas. These include a "garlic sell-out" on July 25th when almost
the entire year's garlic supply is bought and sold.
